Filmmaker, screenwriter, theater director, and producer Arnold Barkus has directed two feature films and numerous theater pieces. Tempête Dans Un Verre d’Eau (Tempest In A Teapot) was theatrically released in France, and in festivals worldwide. The award winning feature Wadeck’s Mother’s Friend’s Son was brought to the attention of a wider audience by Jacques Perrin’s series for French television. Barkus co-wrote Ave, (directed by Konstantin Bojanov) which premiered at Cannes Film Festival (2011) and won over 20 awards worldwide. His documentary work includes co-authoring and appearing in the Claude Ventura feature La Vie et Mort D’un Cadillac Cowboy (The Life And Death of A Cadillac Cowboy), a film about country singer legend Hank Williams for Arte television. He is co-author of the web series I DO, directed by Nathalie Schmidt. His work with director Caveh Zahedi includes co-writing the upcoming fiction feature How To Be A Good Person In A Bad World.
